Halliburton manages marketing for the Urban League of Greater Cleveland, and media relations for the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival.

She is also a contributing producer for Ideastream Public Media with a recent six-part series that included 400 Years of Trauma: Connecting Racism and Health Disparities that aired on WVIZ PBS. After graduating from Ohio University, her ability to produce content developed into opportunities at several radio stations including WEOL 930 AM, WJTB 1040 AM, WZAK 93 FM, WJMO 1490 AM, and WCPN 90.3 FM. Halliburton also spent ten years with WUAB TV 43’s Ten o’clock News and its sister station WOIO CBS 19, as a news reporter, anchor, and co-host/producer of the public affairs program, 43 Focus.

After leaving TV “in front of the camera,” Halliburton joined the team at Public Health TV (PHTV) to produce the multiple Emmy Award and National Headliner winning documentary, A Family’s Story, and The Urban Cancer Project. Funded by NIH, the documentary and the news stories aired on ABC TV affiliate WEWS News 5.

In the academic arena, Halliburton has served as communications director for the Elyria City Schools, and the Lorain County Joint Vocational School/JVS Adult Career Center.

After some re-branding, research, and reflection, Halliburton decided to launch Intentional Content, Inc. a marketing and production company that strategically creates and disseminates messaging and content about and for people of color with the goal of producing intentional outcomes “on purpose.”
